WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE HYBRID?
Our Hybrid vehicles are delivered with a Home Charging Cable. A Public Charging Cable can be purchased for at additional cost.
WITH E-SAVE, CHARGE WHILE YOU DRIVE
When you use the e-SAVE function, the engine rotates the electric motor which is in the gearbox to recharge the battery until the programmed energy level is reached. With this function, the battery can be fully recharged (e-SAVE Max position).
You need to drive 2 km on average to recover 1 km of range (or 100 km on the motorway to recover 50 km of range). Once the set level is reached, the system switches to hybrid mode and maintains the level in the battery at the required threshold (10 km, 20 km or Max).

WHAT IS TEMPORARY TRANSIT?
Temporary Transit or French "T" registration is a special vehicle registration allowing temporary driving of brand new vehicles for tourism purposes. This type of registration is exclusively offered to non-european union residents who are traveling in mainland Europe and facilitated exclusively with French based vehicle manufacturers such as Peugeot. Tourists may "rent" (lease) these vehicles up to 6 months within a 12 month consecutive time period, in some cases up to 355 days for students or other special employment based circumstances.
In the eyes of the French law and according to each contract, the tourist is temporarily "purchasing" the vehicle for a set price which is a portion of the vehicles total sale value based on the length of the contract. Temporary Transit contracts are tax free as those entering into the agreements are not subject to a vehicle purchase tax being non-european union residents. The contract holder (tourist) is agreeing to return the vehicle at the end of a certain prearranged date on the contract which the manufacturer guarantees to accept the vehicle back at various drop-off locations throughout Europe. The contract holder (tourist) has the right to purchase the vehicle at the end of the contract at a reduced rate based on depreciation and a lower tax threshold, however the vehicle must remain within mainland Europe if they should choose to do so.

SNOW TIRES? WINTER DRIVING REQUIREMENTS?
All Peugeot Lease vehicles are equipped with multi-season tires. The chains we offer are snow-tire chains that are easily and quickly mounted without having to move the vehicle.
The original tires mounted on factory-issued peugeot brand vehicles are deemed multi-purpose. This means they are suited for differing driving conditions excluding extreme conditions involving the presence of large amounts of snow and/or water on pavement.
Car-2-Europe cannot mount specialty tires such as "snow" or "contact" tires on its vehicles. If you decide to equip your vehicle with special tires, you can do so at your own expense and the vehicle must be returned with the original tires.
Customers are responsible for consulting officials in each country in which they will be traveling about any and all roadway accessory requirements. Car-2-Europe may not be held liable for the provision of such accessories.
