INTERNATIONAL DRIVERS PERMIT
Although it is not necessary to have this in all countries, it will really save on any headaches if the time arises when you do need one. These act in supplement to your own current U.S driver’s license, they do not replace them. They function as an official translation of a U.S. driver's license into 10 foreign languages. Permits can be obtained at any AAA office in the U.S and only cost $15.00. You can

the application out online and bring it in to any AAA office.

AutoFrance and French automaker Peugeot offer Non-European Union residents the ability to take advantage of a tax-free short term lease. This is ultimately a tax-law loophole in France that enables their auto manufacturers to circumvent the VAT taxes (upward 17%!) associated with auto sales, thus being able to stimulate auto sales and offer more attractive rates on the international platform. The program aptly named “buy-back” as one is considered on paper as the car owner during the lease period but has the manufacturers promise to take the car back at agreed upon time.
