Frankfurt is the fifth largest city in Germany with a population of 2.2 million.
It claims to be "the most international city in Germany" and is the largest
financial center on the European continent. Among its tourist attractions
are famous cathedrals, historic churches, a Renaissance-age opera building,
bridges and botanic gardens. For our car rental or car lease clients,
please be aware that parking near tourist attractions is very limited. So
consider not using your car much in the city. But Frankfurt is
centrally located near several major highways and autobahns. So, explore the
country-side. There is much to see. NOTE: Speed limits, where posted, and DUI
laws are stricly enforced. |
